Get started with ScreenVexa.

Short guidance for common recording, webcam, screenshot and Video Studio workflows.

Start a screen recording

  1. Open ScreenVexa and choose Screen Recorder.
  2. Choose a preset, quality, audio and webcam options.
  3. Press Start recording.
  4. Select the tab, window or screen in Chrome's sharing picker.
  5. Recording begins; automatic floating controls open if that preference is enabled.

Use an external camera

Enable Webcam overlay, grant camera permission if requested, use Refresh cameras, then choose the external or virtual camera Chrome exposes.

Make the camera full screen

During a webcam recording, use Full-screen camera from the recording controls. Use Minimize camera to return to the previous overlay size and position.

Remove a bad section from a video

In Video Studio select the clip and use Cut / Remove Section. Enter or set the start and end points; ScreenVexa keeps the parts before and after the removed range.

4K recording

For the most stable path, use 4K at 30 FPS, Entire selected source and webcam off. Test your source and device before a long recording.
